Okay so the title is a tad misleading, I'm certainly not at the stage where I'm busting out 'I'm sexy and I know it' (unless on my own in my bedroom or the dancefloor of Infernos, obvs) but recently I have flirting with fitness, but I completely (completely, completely!) lack motivation and discipline - plus I'm pretty clueles - so when I do drag myself to exercise I can't just rock up to the gym alone and workout, I need someone there to kick my ass and tell me exactly what to do - which is why I LOVE classes! I've been sweating it out indoor cycling at BOOM Cycle, toning my tummy at BBC Classes with Francesca, HIIT training with Bear Grylls' Personal Trainer at KX and 'good toes, naughty toes'ing' feeling the burn at BarreCore. One of my favourite discoveries since becoming interested in finding exciting new classes is Fitness-Freak.com (FF is how I first discovered the amazing BarreCore which I'm now addicted to). Fitness-freak.com lets you 'Find and book the best fitness classes in London online' - you literally whack in the postcode of where you want to do a class and it lists all the classes near you and lets you book a place, but we're not just talking your typical LBT, Body Pump and Spinning classes here, no no no, FF has also cherry picked the coolest, most original classes to get you fit - hot yoga, aerial hoop, power plates, anti gravity yoga AND for two nights only in November a very special Hula Hoop Class.....

Okay, so it's not quite time for Christmas Carols yet (although the shops seemingly wants us to think otherwise - IT'S OCTOBER PEOPLE) but I thought this was rather fitting today given the abysmal weather we are having. The wind, rain and cold can be brutal on your skin plus 'tis the season of the sniffles so you're skin is pretty much guaranteed to take a battering as we begin hurtling towards Christmas coldness. Having suffered recently from a horrid bout of tonsillitis, plus a long-term affliction known as permanent 'Rudolph Red Nose' the second September ends, I have been reaching for two products in particular to soothe, hydrate and calm my skin..

Another short and sweet 'Workwear Inspiration' post. I definitely like to stick to my basic, simple primary colours (Hello white, black and blue - I see a theme!) but I have been mixing it up this week with shift dresses, two-in-one dresses, jumper and skirt and trousers and shirt combinations.

Last Saturday my housemates and I got dolled up 1920's style for a 'Great Gatsby' themed party at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel (if you're ever in London you must pay it a visit - it's simply incredible). I don't usually reach for eye shadows as part of my daily routine - I'd much rather have five more minutes in bed then mess about with applying and blending eye colours still half asleep -and I'm definitely no pro - so thank goodness for the Urban Decay Naked Palette ....

How To: Cheat A Blow Dry | Six Simple Steps To Give Kate Middleton A Run For Her Money by Sandy of absolutebeaut.com
I've made no secret of my addiction to blowdries, but I've always struggled to achieve that salon-look at home - enter Sandy from absolutebeaut.com ! Not only does Sandy run one of my new favourite blogs (her nail art is insane!) but she has hair to die for and so I am handing over TBG to Sandy for todays post...
Nothing puts a spring in my step quite like a fresh blow dry. Cue a few Kate Middleton impressions and LOTS of Pantene worthy hair-swishing. A good blow dry can turn a bad day into an amazing day. But apparently, having a personal hair stylist on hand (with bionic blow dry arms that never get achey) isn't a very realistic aim for somebody that isn't actually royalty. So here’s a minimal effort method to recreate the blow dry look yourself.

Folks, I think I have found a Micellar cleansing water that is better than the beauty-blogger-beloved Bioderma. Introducing the Rosa Centifolia 3-in-1 Cleansing Water. Why is it so brilliant? Well let me tell you....
